Return & Exchange Policy
Scandean will accept unused merchandise for refund or exchange. Returns must be received in original condition, with original receipt,
and be made within 14 days for a refund or 30 days for an exchange. Refunds are issued in original method of payment. Gift recipients
will receive merchandise credit. Applicable shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping &
handling charges are not refundable.
Normal wear and tear is not warranted on any Scandean product. Scandean reserves the right to determine whether worn and/or
damaged items may be returned or exchanged. Purchases of reduced price merchandise with a .97 cent price ending are deemed Final
Sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
Returned checks are subject to a service charge of $25.00 or the maximum allowed by law. The allowable fee for checks returned for
insufficient or uncollected funds, together with service charges, may be debited electronically from your account or collected using a bank
draft drawn from your account.
Merchandise Availability
All of our products are handmade or hand finished. While we make every effort to have the items you order in stock ready for prompt
shipment, sometimes an unanticipated demand will exceed our supply. Should a delay occur (product temporarily out of stock), we will
contact you to advise when your order will be available. Your credit card will not be charged until items are ready to ship.
Merchandise Form, Size & Colors
As all of our products are handmade or hand finished with natural inlays, dimensions and colors are approximate. All items are
individually crafted, with each one uniquely blending form, size and color. Slight irregularities and variations in silversmith work, stone or
seashell colors, and inclusions are characteristic of the artistry of our jewelry and they may vary significantly from piece to piece.

Standard shipping is via USPS Priority Mail. For Second Day Service, please select USPS Express Mail and add $15 to regular shipping
charges. All shipping charges include packaging, courier charges, delivery confirmation and insurance. If you select USPS Express Mail
and would like to require a signature upon receipt, you must check the appropriate box in the shipping section of the checkout page. If
this option is not selected, a signature will not be required.

International shipping is via USPS Global Express Mail (select International Mail). Products may be subject to duty per recipient country
norms. All shipping charges include packaging, courier charges, delivery confirmation and insurance.
Custom work
Design: Scandean can create a design for you or you can provide us the inspirational design. We will give you the design for your
approval before we start working on the piece.
Timeline: We usually request one to two weeks to create the design and to get the approval. After the approval and payment, it could
take between 6 to 8 weeks for delivery (depending on season). We can offer an expedited service, if necessary, for an additional cost.
Payment: Custom orders must be fully paid in advance of work. Scandean accepts personal and business checks, credit cards and cash.
Inlays: Depending on the design, we only work with our semiprecious stones and seashells (12 different colors available). We do not use
stones provided by the client.
Return Policy: Custom work may not be returned. As all items are handmade with natural inlays, dimensions and colors provided are
approximate. All items are individually crafted, with each one uniquely blending form, size and color.
Security & Privacy Policy
Scandean values and protects the privacy of our customers. Our list of customers’ names and addresses is never made available to third
parties. In order to process your order efficiently, we collect the following information: name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail
address, phone number, and credit card number ("personal information") when you place an order with us. This information is used
solely by Scandean and is stored in a secure environment.
We use secure sockets layer (ssl) technology, which provides the highest level of security currently available for secure transactions, to
encrypt all of your personal information before it is transmitted to us. Encrypted information cannot be read or recorded as it travels over
the internet. Once you enter the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. You can tell you
are sending information securely by the unbroken key icon or closed lock icon that should appear at the bottom of your
internet browser's window.
By using our web site, you agree to accept the Scandean security and privacy policy. Make sure you read this policy carefully, because if
